Lots 2 & 3, E. Viking Plaza
We are happy to announce a recent closing at East Viking Plaza. Yesterday, University of Iowa Community Credit Union completed the process in obtaining Lots 2 & 3 of East Viking Plaza. This is the third location in the Cedar Valley for UICCU - the University/Cedar Heights location is currently under construction and another branch will be built in the Country Club Business Center in the near future.

Fred Receives Coveted SIOR Designation
Big news on the blog today! Fred achieved the SIOR office designation awarded by the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS. SIOR is a Washington, DC-based international professional organization of more than 3,000 commercial real estate professionals, 2,800 of whom have earned the coveted SIOR designation.
To achieve the SIOR designation, Fred completed five years of creditable experience in the highly specialized field of office real estate; met stringent education requirements; and demonstrated professional ability, competency, ethical conduct, and personal integrity.
Individuals who hold the SIOR designation are top producers in the commercial real estate field and are represented in more than 630 cities in 29 countries around the world. SIOR enforces a strict code of ethics and required designees to complete its ethics course within their first three years of membership.
Fred has been an Iowa licensee since 1975. He has been practicing in the disposition of commercial real estate as a third party broker since 1997. "I am please to bring my association with SIOR members, which provide a greater pool of buyers and tenants, to our projects here in the Cedar Valley," states Miehe. Jim Sulentic, President of Sulentic-Fischels Commercial Group, commented, "Fred is worthy of this high designation. We are proud of his accomplishment."

Cherry Berry coming to Cedar Falls
Well, we saved a tasty little post for your Friday! We are happy to announce that Cherry Berry is coming to the Cedar Valley. In front of College Square Mall and next to Panda Express, the yogurt bar will make a new home. Here's how it works: first you chose from the rotating flavors of yogurt, you add yummy toppings (there are fresh fruits to the little indulgences) you weigh it and then pay. Matt and Fred were pleased to work with both the buyer (Comprehensive Systems, Inc) and the seller (DDS Properties, LLC) on 5714 Nordic Drive in the Cedar Falls Industrial and Technology Park. Located between Highway 58 and Nordic Dr. next to the AmericInn Hotel, the property is a mix of office and warehouse space.
